John Stanton

John Stanton is an experienced technical educator and engineer with a robust background in information security and systems management. Currently serving as a Staff Technical Instructor at Proofpoint since October 2018, John develops and delivers comprehensive training on the Information Protection platform and has previously managed Insider Threat Management training programs. Prior to joining Proofpoint, John held positions at BAE Systems, Charter Communications, and NaviSite, specializing in system engineering and administration of CA Spectrum applications. Notable roles include Senior Principal Systems Engineer at BAE Systems and Senior Support Engineer at CA Technologies. John began a career in technical training at Enterasys Networks and Rapid7, facilitating customer training sessions for various critical software applications. John has a foundational education from Trinity High School and has pursued studies at Saint Anselm College and Northeastern University.
