Konstantin Klinger

Konstantin Klinger is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in threat detection and research. Currently serving as a Staff Security Research Engineer at Proofpoint since November 2023, Konstantin provides technical leadership in combating malware and phishing threats. Prior roles include Senior Cyber Security Engineer at Apple, where incident response covered multiple platforms, and several positions at Proofpoint focusing on detection engineering. Earlier, Konstantin worked at DCSO Deutsche Cyber-Sicherheitsorganisation and Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND), where responsibilities encompassed signature development and threat analysis. Konstantin holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering from Bundeswehr University Munich, along with an Allgemeine Hochschulreife from Anne-Frank-Gymnasium Erding.
