Mark Rofael has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from San Francisco State University, where studies were completed between 2016 and 2021. Mark began a professional career as a Student Activities Programming Assistant at San Francisco State University from January 2019 to January 2020, followed by an internship as an Electrical Engineer at UVFAB Systems from January 2020 to May 2020. Mark then worked as an Electrical Engineer at Ratermann Manufacturing from June 2020 to January 2021. Following this, Mark joined Darktrace in September 2021, progressing through various roles including Solutions Engineer and ultimately serving as a Solutions Engineer II, Team Lead, until September 2025. Currently, Mark is employed as a Sales Engineer at Proofpoint, starting in September 2025.
