Michael Chang is a seasoned engineering management leader with extensive experience in developing and supporting high-availability cloud solutions, currently serving as the Director of Scan Cloud Engineering at Proofpoint since 2009. Previously, Michael held the position of Director of China Engineering Operations at Proofpoint, where leadership of distributed Agile teams focused on creating scalable security services in the cloud. Prior to this, Michael was the Director of Engineering at Everyone.net, overseeing the design and development of large-scale SaaS messaging systems, and worked as an Analyst in Internet Products at Andersen Consulting (Accenture). Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and UC Santa Barbara, respectively.
