Reed Smith

Reed Smith is a highly accomplished sales professional with extensive experience in account management and engineering in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Named Account Manager II at Proofpoint since January 2016, Reed has consistently exceeded sales quotas, achieving 192% in 2024 and 189% in 2023, both of which earned recognition in the President’s Club. Prior roles include Named Account Manager at Cisco and Security Sales Account Manager at Websense, as well as positions as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Blue Coat Systems and Watchguard Technologies. Reed began a career in network security and systems engineering at companies such as Jack Henry & Associates and Lucent Technologies, after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Central Bible College.
