Scott Panzer

Scott Panzer is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in data engineering and bioinformatics. Currently serving as the Lead Data Engineer at Proofpoint, Inc. since October 2004, Scott specializes in spam data modeling. Prior to this role, Scott held various positions at Incyte Corporation from May 1997 to June 2004, culminating in the role of Director of Bioinformatics, where responsibilities included developing databases and data processing pipelines for sequence databases and protecting intellectual property related to novel gene discoveries. Earlier in the career, Scott was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Yale School of Medicine from June 1994 to April 1997. Scott holds a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of California, Berkeley, and an A.B. in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University.
