Thad Newton

Thad Newton serves as the Director of Technical Training at Proofpoint since July 2018. Previously, Thad held the position of Director of Training Delivery at Fortinet from October 2015 to June 2018, leading global training events for customers, partners, and employees. Thad's extensive experience at Cisco spanned from August 2000 to September 2015, where roles included Senior Manager of Learning Services, where multiple digital training products were launched, and Manager of E-Service Training, notable for launching an award-winning E-Learning portal and a successful certification program. Thad's background also includes program management and product supportability roles, significantly contributing to the successful launch of new products and training initiatives. Thad holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Texas, earned from 1995 to 1999.
