Tim Sadler

Tim Sadler is an experienced leader in the technology and investment sectors, currently serving as the Group Vice President & General Manager of the Tessian Group at Proofpoint since January 2024. Sadler has been a Sequoia Capital Scout since May 2020, focusing on investments in early-stage companies, and holds the position of Limited Partner at firedrop since May 2023. As a co-founder and CEO of Tessian from November 2012 until its acquisition by Proofpoint in December 2023, Sadler led the development of a comprehensive cloud email security platform that attracted $120 million in funding and employed over 200 individuals globally. Prior to these roles, professional background includes positions as a Global Banking Analyst at HSBC and research and development roles at Trac Group Limited and GE, complemented by advanced degrees in Engineering and Innovation Design from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art.
