Vernon Blakes is an experienced Enterprise Sales Manager at Proofpoint, leading a team of cybersecurity sales professionals across the western U.S. Since joining Proofpoint in June 2017, Vernon has also served as Corporate Sales Manager and Cyber Security Sales Executive, focusing on revenue growth and customer engagement. Prior to Proofpoint, Vernon held positions in IT sales, including IT Sales Consultant at Enabling Customers to Leverage Technologies, and various roles at EMC Corporation and Hewlett-Packard, where responsibilities ranged from managing IT Service Management training to overseeing M&A integration efforts.
