Zhi Chen

Zhi Chen currently serves as the Director of Technical Accounting and Equity Management at Proofpoint, a position held since December 2017, following roles as Senior Manager and Manager in Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting. Prior experience includes being an XBRL Taxonomy Advisory Group Member at the Financial Accounting Standards Board from January 2015 to December 2017, as well as SEC Reporting Manager at Aviat Networks. Zhi Chen has also worked with Workiva and RoseRyan in roles focused on SEC reporting and XBRL consultancy. Early career experience includes positions at The GEO Group, Deloitte, and Bruce Rosenthal, CPA, among others, with a foundation in both accounting and marketing developed at ADC Telecom. Zhi Chen holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications and English from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
