James R. Thompson

James R. Thompson has a long and varied career in the legal profession. In 1987, they began as an Associate for Haligman & Lottner. James R. then moved to Horn, Kaplan, Goldberg, Gorny & Daniels, P.C. in 1990 in the same role. In 1991, they became a Partner at Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP, where they stayed until 2005. In 2005, they opened their own practice, Thompson & Thompson LLP, and also became Of Counsel at Obemayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP. In 2011, they became Owner/Partner at Heckenbach Thompson Suazo & Dave LLP. In 2013, they became Owner/Shareholder at Berenbaum Weinshienk PC. In 2015, they became CEO, President & General Counsel of SPYR, Inc., now doing business as SPYR Technologies, Inc., and also Of Counsel at Miller & Law, P.C. In 2019, they became National Sales Director at PROOF.

James R. Thompson received a BSBA in Business from the University of Denver in 1983, followed by a JD in Law from Rutgers Law School in 1986.
