João V. has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. João began their career as a software development intern at NeoSyx Desenvolvimento in July 2018 and progressed to various roles within the company, including Junior Software Developer I, Junior Software Developer III, and Software Developer I. In these roles, they gained experience in software development and participated in the development of the desktop version of Neoo. João also implemented the chat/instant messenger feature in the application.

João V. then moved on to work as a Senior Software Developer at NeoSyx Desenvolvimento, where they were responsible for gathering requirements from clients, writing documentations, and providing training on tools. João also worked as a Software Engineer at Americanas S.A., where they worked directly on the backend of some of Latin America's biggest e-commerce platforms. In this role, they managed and maintained multicloud microservices applications written in Go and deployed on various cloud platforms. João handled code reviews, implemented CI/CD practices, and followed Scrum methodologies.

João V. later joined FullStack Labs as a Software Engineer, where they continued to develop their skills in software engineering. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Proof, starting in February 2023.
