Ruud Dekker

Ruud Dekker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in venture capital and business development. Currently serving as a Partner at Forward Venture Capital since July 2017 and Owner of Player 2 since May 2020, Ruud focuses on helping founders scale their companies. Additionally, Ruud holds board observer roles at TO THE MARKET and PROOF and is an advisory board member at Flex Data, Inc. Previous experience includes a tenure as a Payment Specialist at Forward Consultancy, where Ruud managed the implementation of a POS system for restaurants, led payment initiatives for a VoIP company, and launched a virtual prepaid credit card brand. Ruud's early career involved significant contributions to establishing a payment service processor in Switzerland and providing customer support at Accenture. Ruud holds a Master’s degree in International Economics & Business from the University of Groningen and has completed studies at BI Norwegian Business School.
