Steven Gardon

Steven Gardon is currently the Regional Director for Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean at Proparco, a position held since November 2013, where oversight includes a team of 10 investment professionals managing a portfolio of approximately $2 billion across various sectors such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure. Prior to this, Steven held multiple investment-related roles at Proparco, including Senior Investment Officer and Business Development Officer for India and Bangladesh at BNP Paribas Développement. Earlier experience includes founding Ares Consultancy Pvt Ltd and working as a Financial Analyst for the French Central Bank. Steven holds a Mastère in Ingénierie Financière from emlyon business school and a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from IDRAC Business School.
