David Pardy

David Pardy has a wealth of experience in the tech industry. In 2009, they began their career as an Intern in Strategy at TransCanada Pipelines. In 2010, they worked as a Researcher at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. In 2011, they were a Digital Signals Processing Developer (Student) at BlackBerry, where they developed device localization algorithms and optimized facial recognition software for Blackberry cameras. In 2013, they were a 1L Summer Student at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP, and also Co-founder, CEO at Intra Vires Research Tools LTD. In 2014, they were a Quantitative Trading Researcher at RBC Global Asset Management. In 2015, they were a Summer Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, and also Co-founder - Product & Ops (Acquired, Shopify) at Helpful.com, where they created 3 products: Buddy, Helpful, and Dialog. In 2019, they were a Senior Product Manager at Properly, a Product Lead, and a Senior Product Lead. David also worked as a Corporate Development Manager at Shopify.

David Pardy obtained a JD/MBA from the University of Toronto in 2016, a General Management certificate from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2012, and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Physics and Mathematics from Queen's University in 2008.
