Tom Mullen

Tom Mullen (FCILEx) possesses extensive experience in data protection and legal research within various organizations. As a Legal Researcher at the College of Policing, Tom focused on legal topics including data protection and freedom of information while managing responses and drafting exemptions. In subsequent roles, including Deputy Data Protection Officer at Derby City Council and Data Protection Officer at Shropshire Council, Tom provided legal advice and training on GDPR and data protection, managed a team handling compliance issues, and oversaw the implementation of GDPR action plans. Currently, as Data Protection Manager at ProPharma Group, Tom continues to lead initiatives in data protection. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from The University of Hull and a data law course from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
