Michael Lauwaert

Michael Lauwaert has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Michael currently holds the position of Director of Software Engineering at Prophix since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Software Development at SOTI from 2020 to 2022 and as the Senior Director of Quality Engineering Transformation at RBC from 2018 to 2020. Before that, they served as the VP of Software Delivery at Travel Edge from 2015 to 2018 and as the Vice President of Development at Telmetrics Inc from 2008 to 2015. Michael also held roles such as Director of Application Development at Axiom Real-Time Metrics, Senior Consultant & Team Lead at Infusion Development, Application Developer at Activeweb Corporation, and Software Development Support Analyst at AIC Limited.

Michael Lauwaert attended Wilfrid Laurier University and obtained a BSc. degree in Computer Science. Michael also has a certification in CompTIA i-Net+ from CompTIA.
