Kunal Moktan

Kunal Moktan is a Co-Founder and CEO of PropShare. Kunal has also worked as an investment professional at Blackstone Real Estate Partners from April 2007 to July 2014.

Kunal was one of the three founding members of Blackstone's India office and helped invest and manage c. $1 billion of equity into Indian real estate across commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, and logistics asset classes. Kunal is also responsible for the purchase of assets such as 12.5 mn sf Manyata Business Park (Bangalore), 116 acre Embassy Tech Village (Bangalore), 3.3 mn sf Embassy Golf Links (Bangalore), 4.4 mn sf EON Business Park (Kharadi, Pune), 1.1 mn sf Panchshil Tech Park (Pune), DLF Ackruti Business Park (Hinjewadi, Pune), Four Seasons Hotels and Residences (Bangalore), 2.2 mn sf Lake Terraces (Bangalore), 1.1 mn sf 24/7 Business Park (Vikhroli, Mumbai), 0.9 mn sf Express Towers (Nariman Point, Mumbai) among others.

nature of regulation and transactions required Kunal to work on various complicated capital structures ranging from debt, equity, convertibles and mezzanine and instruments including Non Convertible Debentures (NCDs), compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPs) among others.
