Jane Nicholson

Jane Nicholson is a seasoned professional in development and fundraising, currently serving as Senior Director of Leadership Gifts at ProPublica since October 2020, following roles as Director of Leadership Gifts and Director of Development for Local Initiatives. Prior to returning to ProPublica Illinois in October 2017 as Director of Development, Jane held various positions at Chicago Public Media, where responsibilities included Manager of Institutional Giving and Grants Manager. Previous experience also includes freelance development work and a role as Silent Auction Co-Chair at Drummond Montessori Matters. Jane's earlier career featured positions with Koahnic Broadcast Corporation, A&E Television Networks, Heller Seasonings & Ingredients, Inc., and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan, obtained in 2001.
