Mark Olalde is an experienced investigative reporter currently working at ProPublica since June 2021. In addition to reporting, Olalde serves as an adjunct professor at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication since January 2022. Previous roles include reporting at The Desert Sun from January 2020 to May 2021, and The Center for Public Integrity from September 2018 to December 2019. Olalde also worked as a freelance reporter from December 2014 to August 2018 and held a position at The Arizona Republic from June 2014 to November 2014. Olalde holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Master's degree in Journalism from American University.
