Amy O'Connell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Amy started their career as an intern at the Irish Embassy in Paris in 2008. In 2009, they worked as a Receptionist/Administrator at Rathmines Clinic. Amy then worked as a Sales Assistant at The Butler's Pantry in 2010.

From 2011 to 2014, Amy worked at Openet, first as a Business Intern and later as an Operations and Finance Business Administrator and SAP Client Implementation Analyst/Change Manager. At Openet, they troubleshooted and resolved user issues, reviewed and audited system data, and assisted with revenue and resource forecasting.

In 2015, Amy joined Jobbio as part of their MSc in Management Consulting. Amy provided consulting services, including reviewing systems and processes and implementing mechanisms for product development and improvement. Amy significantly increased the efficiency for reporting and resolving product feedback and issues.

Later in 2015, Amy joined IBM as a Business Analyst for HSBC, and in 2018, they worked as a SAP Project Manager/Test Manager for CRH Finland. During their time at IBM, they delivered large-scale IT system implementation projects for various clients in Europe across different industries, including banking, finance, and public sector organizations.

In 2020, Amy worked as a SAP Test Manager for Glen Dimplex and then took a sabbatical from January 2019 to November 2019. In 2021, they joined Propylon as a Senior Business Analyst.

Amy O'Connell received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Politics from Trinity College Dublin, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Amy then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Management Consultancy from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, attending from 2014 to 2015. In addition to their degrees, they obtained the ICAgile Certified Professional certification from ICAgile in December 2016.
