Wouter Beumer

Wouter Beumer is a seasoned professional in pharmacodynamics and immunology, currently serving as Senior Director at ProQR Therapeutics since March 2013, with previous roles including Director and Senior Scientist in the same field. Responsibilities include managing non-clinical pharmacodynamics, exploratory bio-distribution, immunology, and histology for ongoing projects at ProQR. Prior to this, Wouter Beumer earned a PhD from Erasmus MC with a thesis on the role of myelo-monocytic cells in autoimmune diseases and psychiatric disorders. Professional experience also includes roles in business development at Shanghai Genomics and target discovery internships at Organon and Delft University of Technology.
