Software Engineer at Prorize

Can Hantas has a diverse work experience in software engineering and research. Can started their career as a Research Assistant at TOBB ETU, where they developed a CPU simulator and code translator named TULPAR for a CPU design competition. Can then worked as a Research & Teaching Assistant at Bilkent University, focused on chip-level communication reduction for heterogeneous multicore processors.

In 2010, Can worked as a Visiting Researcher at INRIA, and later joined Prorize LLC as a Software Engineer. At Prorize LLC, they developed a custom ETL library and user interface using C# and WPF for data processing and analysis. Can also handled server deployment and management, including both bare metal and virtual servers running Windows Server and Ubuntu. Additionally, they managed development and business support systems such as TeamCity, YouTrack, and GitLab.

Can's most recent role was as a Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they worked for three years before transitioning to Prorize LLC.

Can Hantas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed from 2011 to 2014. In December 2014, they obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
