Boyd Meier

Boyd Meier is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software development and product management. Currently serving as Senior Technical Lead and Manager of Product Development at PROS since November 2012, Boyd designed and implemented the Night Owl monitoring framework utilizing Hadoop and Elasticsearch for remote application monitoring. Prior to PROS, Boyd held several roles at Acorn Systems from July 1999 to October 2012, including Director of Product Development, where responsibilities included leading project teams and overseeing architectural design, as well as developing optimization software. Earlier experience includes Senior Software Engineer positions at Lockheed Martin, where work involved support for NASA projects, and analyst roles at Aspen Technology and Setpoint, focusing on scheduling and optimization software in the petroleum industry. Boyd holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin.
