Desi Barkhuizen is an accomplished airline revenue management and commercial executive with extensive experience in the aviation industry. They served as Senior Vice President of Revenue Management at airberlin from 2015 to 2017 and held the position of Vice President of Revenue Management at Etihad Airways from 2008 to 2015. Currently, Desi is the Principal of Global Industries at PROS and previously worked as Group Managing Director at Insureafrica Administrators Group from 2017 to 2024. Desi earned an MSc in Physics from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski between 1985 and 1990.
