Michael Wu

Michael Wu PhD is an accomplished researcher and strategist with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at Team Flow Institute and a Senior Research Fellow at École des Ponts Business School, Michael also holds the position of Chief AI Strategist at PROS and teaches courses as an instructor at UC Berkeley Extension. Prior roles include guest lectureship at University of California, Berkeley, and chief scientist at Lithium Technologies, where significant contributions included the development of the Facebook Engagement Index and innovative gamification strategies. Michael’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biophysics and a Bachelor's degree with a triple major in Applied Math, Physics, and Molecular & Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. A strong foundation in research is evidenced by work in various laboratories and involvement in projects related to visual processing and particle physics.
