Thomas Matheson

Thomas Matheson has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Thomas began their career at Shell in 2002 as a Marine Engineer and worked there until 2006. In 2007, they joined Wärtsilä as a Field Service Engineer. Thomas then moved to Diamond Offshore in 2008, where they worked as a Mechanic until 2009. Since 2009, Thomas has been working at Prosafe, starting as a First Engineer and eventually becoming the Chief Engineer on board the Safe Zephyrus. In their current role, they are responsible for the safe and efficient management and operation of the Technical Department, focusing on the maintenance and repair of hull, structure, and technical equipment.

Thomas Matheson attended South Shields Marine School where they obtained a HND in Marine Engineering.
