Hasher Ummar has extensive work experience in the field of marketing and consulting. Hasher began their career as a Marketing Intern at Aramex in 2006, followed by a role as a Marketing Graduate Trainee at Dubai World in 2007. Hasher then served as a Marketing & Digital Content Lead at LUXHABITAT for a brief period in 2008.
From 2008 to 2012, Hasher worked as a Project Manager - Experiential Marketing at Action Marketing Agency, where they were responsible for marketing plan preparation, core concept development, budgeting, BTL activations, and event execution logistics coordination for various projects. Hasher worked on notable projects such as Sprite 2011, which targeted the labor class in UAE and aimed to increase market share for the brand. This project involved extensive market analysis and research.
In 2012, Hasher joined Grand Stores LLC as a Marketing & Events Specialist, where they handled marketing and event planning responsibilities until June 2015. Hasher then joined MMI - Maritime and Mercantile International as a Brand Specialist from July 2015 to July 2017.
In 2017, Hasher joined iD Fresh Food (India) Pvt. Ltd. as a Marketing Manager and held this position until the information was provided. In 2019, they also worked at OnFrontiers as a Category Consultant - FMCG MEA.

Hasher Ummar completed a degree in Media & Communications from Manipal Academy of Higher Education - MAHE, Dubai from 2005 to 2008, specializing in Mass Communication/Media Studies. In 2016, they obtained a certification in Digital Content Marketing from Web Marketing Academy. Later, in 2021, Hasher attended INSEAD to pursue a degree in Digital Marketing Strategy. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Google AdWords from Google in August 2016.
