Tae K.

Tae K. has a diverse work experience in the medical field. They started their career as an Emergency Physician at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in 2010, where they worked until 2014. During this time, they were responsible for overseeing midlevel practitioners and coordinating care for patients requiring admission or transfer to a nearby tertiary Level I trauma center.

After that, Tae served as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School from 2014 to 2020. In this role, they provided instruction and guidance to medical students.

In 2014, Tae also began working as an Emergency Physician at Baystate Health, a busy community Level II trauma center. Their responsibilities included supervising senior emergency medicine residents and coordinating care for critically ill patients.

Tae K. has a diverse education history spanning various fields of study. In 1989, Tae obtained a Paramedic Certificate from Cape Cod Community College. Moving forward, Tae pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy at UMass Boston from 1998 to 2000. Following this, Tae attended Brandeis University from 1987 to 1989, studying Philosophy.

In 2003, Tae enrolled at Western University of Health Sciences, where they achieved a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2007. Tae subsequently joined the University at Buffalo for an Emergency Medicine Residency Program, which lasted from 2007 to 2010.

To further enhance their knowledge and skills, in 2009, Tae completed a Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management program and obtained a Certificate of completion from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

More recently, in 2021, Tae received a Certificate of completion for the AMIA 10x10 course from Oregon Health & Science University.

In addition to their academic education, Tae has obtained several certifications. Tae became Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine in 2010 and is recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine since 2018.

Moreover, Tae acquired the Paramedic certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians in 1989. Tae also obtained a Good Clinical Practice Certificate from the NIDA Clinical Trials Network in January 2023.
