Armin Burth

Senior Project Engineer

Armin Burth is a Senior Project Engineer at PROSE since January 2017, specializing in technical project management for railways with a focus on bogies and carbodies as well as serving as a System Engineer for complete railway vehicles. Prior to this role, Burth worked at Bombardier Transportation from January 2001 to December 2016 as a Project Engineer and Team Leader, leading the development of bogies for rail vehicles. Earlier experience includes working as a Structural Engineer at ADtranz (1996-2000) where Burth contributed to the Intercity tilting train ICN for SBB, and at Schindler Waggon (1994-1995), focusing on the development of a test tilting train made of fibre-reinforced plastic. Burth holds several academic qualifications, including an IPMA Level D certification from Swissmem Akademie and a Nachdiplom Wirtschaftsingenieur from Fachhochschule St.Gallen, alongside a Diplom-Ingenieurin in Maschinenbau from HTWG Hochschule Konstanz.
