Tore Erntsen

Tore Erntsen is based in Trondheim, Norway, and was appointed Proserv’s Chief Technology Officer in 2019. He was previously Vice President (VP), Engineering and Technology, within the firm’s subsea controls operation.

Working in collaboration with fellow senior management and his global team, Tore spearheads Proserv’s five-year technology roadmap, exploring emerging technologies, recommending strategies and innovating of new solutions. He oversees the company’s industry standards responsibilities, academic links, and technical community programs.

Before joining Proserv in 2012, Tore was VP of Technology and Engineering for Subsea Controls at Weatherford, starting his career at Siemens in 1997.

A proven and experienced leader, Tore holds an MSc in Engineering and ICT from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He has received industry-wide recognition for his technology leadership, through the expansion of Proserv’s team at its Trondheim facility and its status as a Technology Centre of Excellence.
