Romain Merlet is an experienced software development engineer with a strong background in simulation and 3D programming. Currently serving as an Ingénieur développement logiciels at Fives since October 2022, Romain focuses on the design and development of software for process simulation. Previously, Romain held the position of Président at Talos Studio from November 2016 to October 2023, where responsibilities included the production and commercialization of road infrastructure tools, as well as game engine programming. Romain also contributed to military simulation projects as an Ingénieur développement logiciels at Thales from July 2020 to September 2022 and engaged in 3D development and interoperability at Trimble Inc. from November 2017 to October 2019. Early in the career, Romain worked as a Développeur Projet at Institut National Universitaire Champollion, specializing in 2D/3D development for educational programs. Romain holds a Licence in Informatique from the same institution.
