Jay McGlothlin

Jay McGlothlin has over 18 years of experience in the technology sector. Jay began their career in 2002 as the Chief Technology Officer at Moblinx Systems Inc. In 2003, they took on the role of Technical Supervisor at the RPI Social and Behavioral Research Lab. From 2005 to present, they have held various positions at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. These roles include Manager of Research Computing, Senior Systems Administrator, and Senior Web Producer. In 2005, they also became the Chief Technology Officer at Prospect Genius.

Jay McGlothlin is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Engineering Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) which they expect to complete in 2023. Jay also holds a Machine Learning and AI Certificate from RPI which they obtained in 2021. In 2003, they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from RPI. In addition, Jay holds certifications from PEOPLECERT (ITIL Foundation, obtained in 2015) and Cisco (CCNP, obtained in 2003 and CCNA, obtained in 2002).
