Or Lotan

Or Lotan has extensive work experience in the field of data science, algorithms, and computer vision. They currently serve as the Head of Artificial Intelligence at Prospera Technologies, a position they have held since September 2021. In this role, they lead the development and implementation of machine learning and optimization projects.

Prior to this, Or worked as a Research Team Lead at Prospera Technologies from November 2016 to September 2021. In this role, they initiated and led various projects involving deep learning, optimization algorithms, and time series optimization. They also served as a Data Scientist at the same company from June 2015 to November 2016, where they developed technological solutions for agricultural imagery data, image processing, and time series analysis.

Before joining Prospera Technologies, Or worked as an MSc student at the Weizmann Institute of Science from October 2012 to April 2015. They conducted research in the field of image processing, focusing on multi-scale representation for image patches.

Or also has experience as a Team Lead at Magshimim from October 2012 to September 2014, and as a Data Analysis Team Leader in the IDF from 2004 to 2009.

Or Lotan completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Economics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2009 to 2012. Subsequently, from 2012 to 2014, Or pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
