Antonis Markopoulos

Antonis Markopoulos has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Antonis is currently the Founder and CEO of Prosperty, where they are responsible for defining the company roadmap and strategy, leading the overall product strategy, and dealing with strategic opportunities. Prior to this, they worked at Intralot, where they served as the VP of Business Development and later as the Managing Director. Antonis also held the position of Special Secretary of Digital Planning at the Ministry of Regional Development and Competitiveness of Greece. Earlier in their career, they worked at Velti as a Senior Solution Architect and Account Manager, at the National Technical University of Athens as a Senior Research Associate, and at Intrasoft International as a Software Engineer. Throughout their career, Antonis has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a strategic focus, while also ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Antonis Markopoulos completed their BSc degree in Information Technologies and Communication from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, with a duration of 1994 to 2000. Later on, they pursued a Ph.D. degree in Telecommunication with a specialization in 4G Networks from the National Technical University of Athens, from 2001 to 2005. In 2011, Antonis furthered their education by acquiring a certification in Public Leadership in SouthEast Europe from Harvard Kennedy School.
