Matthias Grau

Matthias Grau has extensive experience in the fields of shipbuilding and product lifecycle management (PLM), currently serving as Key Account Manager for the Shipbuilding Industry at PROSTEP since September 2003. In addition to this role, Matthias has held various positions at PROSTEP, including PLM Consultant, Manager of the Hamburg Branch Office, Product Manager for OpenPDM Ship, Manager of PLM Processes & Methods in Hamburg, and Expert Group Lead for Enterprise Architecture. Prior to PROSTEP, Matthias worked as Manager of Research at Atlantec Enterprise Solutions and as Product Manager for STEP Technology at Kockums Computer Systems, now known as AVEVA. Early in the career, Matthias was a Research Scientist at the Aachen Institute of Technology after earning a Dr.-Ing. degree in Offshore Structures from RWTH Aachen University and a Dipl.-Ing. in Naval Architecture from Rostock University.
