Andreas Schummer

Andreas Schummer has extensive work experience in the field of laboratory management and scientific research. From 2011 to 2018, they worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter / Doktorand and later as a Promovierter wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau. In 2018, they joined Protagen Protein Services GmbH as an Application Specialist until January 2022. Andreas then moved to ProtaGene and took on the role of Scientist II Mass Spectrometry from January 2022 to April 2023. Andreas currently holds the position of Laboratory Manager at ProtaGene, starting in April 2023.

Andreas Schummer completed their education at the University of Hohenheim, where they obtained a Diplom degree in Biologie, allgemein. Andreas attended the university from 2005 to 2010.
