Dana Gibson

Dana Gibson has extensive work experience in various roles. Dana worked at Protagona as a Cloud Engineer starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Cloud Engineer from August 2022 to January 2023. Dana also gained experience as a Student at Level Up In Tech from February 2022 to July 2022. Before transitioning into the tech industry, they worked as a Mathematics Teacher at the City of Salem, Virginia from August 2021 to June 2022, and at Roanoke City Public Schools from August 2011 to March 2019. In both teaching roles, they created and implemented lessons in accordance with the Common Core curriculum, served as a subject matter expert in various math subjects, utilized instructional technology, and maintained classroom management. Additionally, they worked as a Software Training Specialist at Carilion Clinic from March 2019 to August 2021, where they led the telemedicine training initiative and provided technical assistance to medical professionals.

Dana Gibson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Grand Valley State University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Terraform Certified Associate from HashiCorp in October 2022, AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2022, and LPI Linux Essential from Linux Professional Institute (LPI) in February 2022.
