Mohamed Nor

Mohamed Nor has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mohamed started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at The Arab Contractors in 2017. Mohamed then worked as a Quality Control Engineer at Nafea Group (JAC) from November 2020 to January 2021, where they focused on building graphs, interpreting data, and creating daily production defect reports.

In 2021, Mohamed took on the role of a Data Analyst at Freelancer.com for a brief period from February to April. During this time, they contributed to data gathering, wrangling, and loading through ETL pipelines.

Later in 2021, Mohamed joined Empoweromics, Inc. as a Data Analyst, where they automated data processes, consolidated data sources into a unified database, and implemented RPA solutions to optimize operations.

In 2022, Mohamed moved to Vodafone as a Business Intelligence & Big Data Analyst. Mohamed'sresponsibilities included building streamlit applications for data lineage view, creating automatic alerting systems, and performing data integrity gap analysis.

Currently, Mohamed works as a Data Engineer at Protagona, starting in May 2023.

Mohamed Nor completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering at Ain Shams University from 2015 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications related to data analysis and database management. These certifications include "Data Modeling with Dax" and "Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Essential Training" from LinkedIn, "SQL Server Integration Services" from LinkedIn, "Ask questions to make data driven decisions" and "Data,Data,Everywhere" from Coursera, "SQL Certified" from HackerRank, "Analysing data with tableau," "Connecting data on tableau," "Creating dashboards with tableau," "Functions for Manipulating Data in PostgreSQL," "Intermediate sql," "Introduction to sql," "Joining data in sql," "PostgreSQL Summary Stats and Window Functions," and "Web Scraping In Python" from DataCamp. Mohamed also completed the "Data Analyst Complete bootcamp" from 365 Data Science and the "Introduction to tableau" and "Data science challenger track" from Udacity.
