Emma Law has a solid work experience in various roles related to quality assurance and ethics. Emma began their career at Paymentshield in 2005 as a Complaints Handler and later became a Quality Assurance Manager. In 2010, they joined Bibby Line Group as a Quality Assurance Officer. Emma then moved to the University of Liverpool in 2012, where they served as a Quality Assurance Manager in both the Cancer Research UK Liverpool Cancer Trials Unit and the Research Support Office. In 2019, they joined the University of Central Lancashire as the Head of the Ethics, Integrity and Governance Unit. Currently, they are working at Protas, first as a Clinical Quality Assurance Manager and now as the Head of Clinical Quality Assurance.
Emma Law earned a Master's Degree in Quality Management in Scientific Research & Development from Cranfield University between 2014 and 2016. Emma also obtained a Diploma in Quality Management from the Chartered Quality Institute from 2011 to 2013. Currently, Emma is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Research Ethics & Integrity at the University of Central Lancashire, starting in 2020. In addition to their degrees, Emma holds certifications as a Chartered Quality Professional from The Chartered Quality Institute, obtained in 2014, and as a Member of the Research Quality Association from the Research Quality Association (RQA), obtained in 2012.
