David (Dadi) Perlmutter is a Technology and Social entrepreneur and investor, focusing on investment in growing Israeli technology companies and in social activities to create social and economic opportunities for the younger generation. Perlmutter serves as Chairman of Weebit nano and Teramount, is a Board member of Mellanox and an investor/director in various startups in Israel and Si Valley. He also chairs, and is active in nonprofit organizations. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and a Board member of the Technion Israel Society. During his 34-year career at Intel, Perlmutter was directly responsible for developing several of Intel's major products and technology breakthroughs that had an important impact on Intel's business and on the entire industry. In his final position of Executive Vice President and Chief Product officer, Perlmutter grew the business from $35B in 2008 to more than $50B in 2013. Perlmutter holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering Cum Laude from the Technion, and in 1987 won the innovation in industrial development award from the President of Israel. Perlmutter was born in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1953, and is married with 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
