Mark Potter

Mark Potter is the current advisor at proteanTecs and has an extensive work history in technology. Mark was previously the Global Chief Technology Officer & Director of Hewlett Packard Labs, HPE. In this role, they worked cross-functionally with business, sales and Hewlett Packard Labs to set strategy, help incubate new businesses and accelerate company’s innovation agenda to a broader set of customers.

Mark was also part of C-Level executive team helping to define and execute strategy for newly created HPE (culture, business, portfolio, operational model, etc.). In addition, they led the team to develop cohesive private/public cloud platform to underpin company pivot to service delivery. Under their guidance, the company transformed its business and products to enter into profit pool of high end of HPC Business.

Mark has also served on the board of directors for Solarflare Communications, Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES), and Tomball Regional Medical Center.

Potter earned their degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston.

Mark Potter has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and also completed the Leading Business Systems program at Hewlett-Packard's Senior Executive Leadership Program. Mark is also a graduate of Babson College's Executive Leadership Program, where they focused on Global Leadership Development.
