Ran Cohen

Ran Cohen has a diverse work experience that includes roles in both the tech industry and the Israeli Defense Forces. Ran is currently working at proteanTecs as a Software Team Lead, where they are responsible for developing a microservice-based cloud platform. Prior to this role, they worked as a Software Engineer at proteanTecs, contributing to the development of their data environment using technologies such as Java, Python, K8s, Docker, and more. Before entering the tech industry, Ran served in the IDF as a Company Commander and later as a Commanding Officer, where they gained experience in leadership, planning, and operational activity.

Ran Cohen attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Ran also obtained a certification in Technological storytelling skills from Proteantecs in 2022.
