Designed to enhance your current equipment and maintain its operational viability beyond the established OEM technical lifetime, ProTec provides products, services and technical training that contributes to our customers’ effective operation—no matter where in the world they are located.

Through our leadership and reputation in excitation system components, voltage regulator retrofits and related systems ProTec is ready to deliver results for any type of power plants in the utility industry and associated sites, particularly those that incorporate emergency backup power or independent power generation.

Our company’s business model is built on the upgrade and retrofit of outdated or obsolete excitation systems that can be given a new life to reduce your operational cost with newer technologies. In essence, ProTec can keep your equipment operating longer and many times more effectively than with antiquated OEM components.

ProTec also performs emergency diesel generator governor system support to ensure the reliability and availability of this critical industrial equipment. Support of the governor system includes tuning of mechanical and electric governor systems, troubleshooting and consulting. We are available to respond to the needs of our customer and future customer in short notice.

At ProTec, we treat our customers like partners. In our effort to differentiate ourselves from the rest, we make it a point to keep clients’ updated on industry events and requirements that could affect generation—including system failures, plant trips, and other planned and unplanned events.
