Randy Befumo

Randy Befumo is an accomplished finance and strategy professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Advisor at Protecht and Bolt Threads respectively since February and April 2020, Randy also provides advisory services to GiveSignup | RunSignup and Eventbrite. Previously, Randy held significant positions at Legg Mason Capital Management from 1998 to 2013, including Director of Research, where oversight of a team of analysts and development of research practices were key responsibilities. At Legg Mason, Randy also served as Special Assistant to the CEO and as an Analyst. Prior to this, Randy worked as a Senior Analyst at The Motley Fool from 1994 to 1998. Education includes an Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Religion and Philosophy from William & Mary.
