Héctor R.

Héctor R. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Héctor began their career at Diario EL TIEMPO in 2004 as a News Writer, where they processed information from courts and prepared daily agendas. In 2004, they also worked as a News Writer at Venevision. From 2006 to 2015, Héctor worked at Cadena Capriles as an Editorial Designer and later as a Design Coordinator.

In 2016, Héctor joined Cigna as a Customer Care Assistant, where they worked with the Clinical Ops team and was responsible for sending Guarantees of Payments and evaluating treatment requests. The following year, they worked at Protecmedia as an Editorial Designer, designing web prototypes and sample models for the company's software. Héctor also made video presentations for new features and products. At Protecmedia, they later transitioned to the role of Product Designer, specializing in product support and consultancy. Héctor also served as a Product Specialist.

In 2019, Héctor worked as a Web Developer at Runrunes, and as a Web Designer at Chicas Poderosas. In addition, they worked as a Teacher at UCAB from 2009 onwards. Héctor's experience demonstrates their adaptability and expertise in various roles and industries.

Héctor R. has a varied education history. In 2000, they attended the Universidad Central de Venezuela, where they studied Mass Media Communication with a focus on News and Information Design. Héctor completed this degree in 2006. However, they also pursued another degree in Electricity Engineering at the Universidad Simón Bolívar from 1996 to 2000, but it remains unfinished.

In 2012, Héctor R. obtained a Diploma in College Education Based in Competencies from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. Héctor furthered their education in 2014, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the Ministry of Universities of Spain.

Additionally, Héctor R. has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include an EF SET English Certificate with a proficiency level of C2, which they obtained in May 2023. Héctor also acquired certifications in Data Journalism, Data Analysis with R, Creative Collaboration, User Experience Design, Web Typography, Front-End Fundamentals, and more from various institutions such as the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas, Université Paris-Saclay, LinkedIn, Udemy, Université de Caen Normandie, Interface School, and Pirple.
