Wafaa Salah-Eldin

Wafaa Salah-Eldin has four years of work experience. In 2021, they began working as an AI Research Engineer at Proteinea and as an NLP Research Assistant at Zewail City of Science and Technology. In 2020, they were an AI Research Intern and a Reinforcement Learning Research Intern at Zewail City of Science and Technology. In 2022, they began working as a Healthcare and Life Sciences CTO Fellowship at Amazon Web Services (AWS). This program consists of weekly sessions with CTOs from top late-stage startups covering topics such as Goal Setting & Managing Your Engineering Team, Design Principles for Cloud Architecture, Influencing Your Product Roadmap, and Recruiting Technical Talent.

Wafaa Salah-Eldin received their Bachelor's degree in Communication and Information Engineering from Zewail City of Science and Technology in 2021, after studying there from 2016 to 2021. Wafaa is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at the same institution, which they started in 2022 and is expected to complete in 2024.
