Dan George

Dan George, MBA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in global sourcing and supply chain management. Currently serving as the Director of Global Sourcing at Proterra Inc since April 2023, Dan leads sitewide sourcing strategy and procurement efforts. Prior to this role, Dan held various positions at BorgWarner Inc. from January 2007 to March 2023, culminating in the role of Sr. Manager of Global Sourcing. Dan's responsibilities included managing customer relations and production scheduling for teams supporting significant sales revenues and overseeing procurement for both iron and aluminum components. Dan holds two Master of Business Administration degrees from Western Carolina University and a Bachelor's degree in Business, specializing in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
