Paul Mottram

Paul Mottram is an experienced manufacturing professional with a robust background in lean practices and management. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Proterra Inc since October 2016 and at Orchid Arcadia since February 2012, Paul previously held positions including Director of Lean Manufacturing at Triumph Group and Senior Lean Specialist at Airbus. Earlier in the career, Paul worked as a Senior Lean Manufacturing Specialist at RWD Technologies and as Group Leader for Machining & Assembly at Toyota UK. Paul’s foundational experience includes serving as an Armourer for Tornado Aircraft in the Royal Air Force. Paul holds a Bachelor of Technology in General & Aeronautical Engineering from the Royal Air Force, as well as a high school education from Wirral Grammar.
