What do we do --
We are an operating Investment Firm, wherein we work with founders to help them in scaling their ventures from 1 to 100, by working alongside them as operators.
We work across brand building, online and offline channel marketing, and go-to-market approaches, OKRs, along with strengthening operational, financial, and structural discipline, as they grow.

What we take: a stake, along with the cost of fractional resources, that vary with the stage and scale of the startup.
Usual timeline to work with a startup: 3-12 months
Investment ticket size ranges from 10L to 3cr.

Why we exist --
As per Greek mythology, Proteus was a shape-shifting sea god who could change form at will. According to legend, he had seen all the ups and downs and the unpredictable nature of the sea. Some called him "Old Man of the Sea".

That's the inspiration for Proteus Partners. As an “Old Man of the Sea”, attempting to help startups who dare to cross the sea, without getting sunk :)

What is the problem we want to solve?
Running a startup but struggling to scale? Need help with Brand building or go-to-market? Digital or offline expansion? OKRs within the team and founders?
Looking for a bouncing board? Founder issues? Lonely at the top, but cannot admit to anyone? Need someone to have structured reviews and show a real mirror to you? Someone who can work with you and not just keep giving gyan? Tired of ‘advisors’ who always have a point of view?

A founder does not have one problem at a time - based on the stage, the challenge, the mood, and the cash flows, every founder faces her/his own ‘tides’.

At Proteus, we change form at will, depending upon which ‘tide’ you face - we learn and act with you, not through you!
We work not only as partners, but as operating partners, getting our hands and skin dirty in the 'sea'.
We dont just work as gyani baba but practically, as Fractional Co-Founders.

If you are in the middle of the sea, reach out to us with some black coffee :)
